National Senior Performance Horse Award to SPPHA NSW Member
SPPHA NSW has continued its tradition of outstanding results in Standardbred showing at the National level. Sharon Lambert and her gelding Baron Red Coach, consistent NSW showing competitors, achieved the following:

· 1st & Champion Senior Ridden Gelding
· National Senior Performance Horse
All NSW competitors did exceptionally well in the 2008-2009 competition, achieving results in the Top 10:

The National High Point Showing Awards are an opportunity for members of the SPPHAs in each state to compete at a national level. Each state SPPHA nominates 4 shows as “High Point” shows; members pay an entry fee and receive a special National High Point performance card to record their placings at each show and to be signed by the judge. Points are allocated depending on placings and Supreme, Champion and Reserve Champion awards. Performance cards from across the competing states are collected and tallied at the close of the competition to determine the final placings.
